Vexmon is a digital dragon-type Digimon born from the remnants of a program infected by a powerful virus. Unlike other Digimon who typically evolve naturally, Vexmon was created artificially, but with abilities that push the boundaries. It was formed within a dark cyber network, where dangerous code and unstable data became its sustenance. Because of its origins, Vexmon doesn’t have emotions like other Digimon. It only lives for one purpose: to control and change data in the Digital World according to its will.

Vexmon is known as a very solitary entity. It doesn’t cooperate with anyone and only emerges from the darkness when it senses an anomaly in the network. It will hunt down and delete other Digimon it considers a threat, or absorb them to increase its power. Although its actions are often destructive, Vexmon doesn’t do them out of hatred. It simply follows the program inside it, which is to perfect the Digital World network by deleting all “errors.”

Vexmon’s hobby is to modify data within the Digital World. With its abilities, it can manipulate topography, change other Digimon into stronger forms, or even delete them permanently. Unlike Beelzemon’s and Lucemon’s paths of destruction and hate, Doomsdaymon enforces the balance of time, ensuring that no Digimon, not even gods or Demon Lords, can escape their destined end. To battle him is to fight the weight of past, present, and future simultaneously.

When Doomsdaymon merges with the data of Apocalymon, he transcends into Doomsdaymon Apocalypse Mode, a cosmic calamity that embodies the Collapse of Time itself. In this form, he does not simply kill—he rewinds and fast-forwards existence until it unravels. But that is a story for another day.
